Have you ever been asked to play in a golf event for charity, lead an event, or donate to a charity golf event? It is by far the most fun and exciting way to raise money for; medical research, local schools, booster clubs, benefits and foundations to name a few. It is more than just giving money. It is a way to raise awareness, make connections, new friends and get the community involved for a good cause. At 1757 Golf Club, we provide you with the venue, experienced staff, immaculate facility and gourmet food to help you meet your goals.
How do you raise money through a golf tournament? It all starts with a committee. The more people involved, the better. The committee will help coordinate the needs of the tournament, collect donations, register players and execute the golf tournament the day of. Charity events can start with as little as 40 players and go as high as 144 players. Your rate for golfers should be reasonable and should only cover the golf and food with 10% added on to go directly to the charity. How is the rest of the money raised?
